Mallika Sherawat
She redefined sexuality in Indian cinema through her bold characters. Her daring onscreen attitude in films like Khwahish and Murder trickled
down off-screen as well. When Mallika entered the industry rumour mills
churned out reports that she is already married and has taken a
divorce, though the actress never accepted these claims. Currently, this
37 year old actress is searching for the love of her life through a
reality TV show, Bachelorette’s Indian version. Well, whether she finds
her prince charming or not, we are sure her ‘devil may care’ attitude
will always triumph.
Priyanka Chopra
This former Miss World, is also an actress and a singer. She has been
previously been linked to few of her co-stars, but has always denied
being in any kind of relationship. She is 31 and single, and has her
family’s complete support and backing in whatever she decides. As
Priyanka says, “Thankfully, I don’t have any pressure to get married
from my family.”
Nargis Fakhri
Aged 34, an ex-American actress and model, whose claim to fame is the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar,
was also one of the top searched celebrities on Internet in 2012.
Currently eroding many top actresses in brand endorsements, she has many
films lined in her kitty. Nargis is rumoured to be dating Uday Chopra
currently, though the two maintain a stoic silence on it. When it comes
to marriage this is what she says, “I want to be an independent woman. I
will make my own career and money, so it’s okay if I don’t get married
at all.”
Sushmita Sen
She won the title of Miss Universe in 1994, and created history by
being the first Indian woman to do so. Her career in Bollywood took off
to a slow start, but once it gathered momentum she ruled at the industry
with her looks and talent. Sushmita became a proud single mom after
adopting two girls- Reena and Alisha. After a lot of names were linked
with her by rumour mills (Randeep Hooda and Wasim Akram), Sushmita, now
37, in an interview said, "Right now my entire focus is on spending
quality time with them. There is no plan in my life now to get married."
Bipasha Basu
After breaking up with her long-term boyfriend John Abraham, she
apparently became self-reclusive. But now she is back in the game. Owner
of never ending legs, a perfectly toned physique; she is currently
reported to be dating actor Harman Baweja. How much truth that holds
only the two know? In an interview earlier this year, Bipasha was quoted
saying, "Let me first find my soul mate. Hopefully, I find him soon, I
am not looking though, let him find me."

doesn't need a man to be happy and successful. Known for her dimpled
smile and stellar performances in movies like Kal Ho Na Ho and Veer-Zaara;
Preity believes in living life at her own terms. After coming out of a
long-term relationship with industrialist Ness Wadia, she is currently

will inform everyone.”
Rani Mukerji
Rani Mukerji shot to fame with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, got critic attention with Black and found key to young hearts with Hum Tum.
She has always maintained her dignity and silence on her relationship
with Aditya Chopra. Currently 35 and single, she seems more focused on
career rather than marriage. Earlier this year, Rani said in an
interview, “I’ve heard that we come on earth in pairs, get separated
only to meet once again through marriage. So whoever is there on this
earth for me, will eventually get paired with me. Till then, I’ll enjoy
my singlehood.”
Urmila Matondkar
Made her debut as a child actress in the 1980 film Masoom;
she has established quite a name for herself with some good films to
her credit. The sex symbol of the 90s is currently 39 and single, and
has taken a self-imposed exile from Bollywood. A few years back this is
what Urmila had to say about settleing down in life, “Why can’t I just
be a sexy eligible single woman? Forget marriage, I’ve never felt the
need to be in a relationship just for the sake of having a man in my
life.” Have things changed now? No one really knows!
